Engineering Certificates

AEA performs vehicle assessments and can prepare and issue Engineering certificates for modified or imported vehicles for all States and Territories in Australia with specific accreditation in Victoria (VicRoads), New South Wales (RMS) and Queensland (TMR).

Assessment types include;

• Modified vehicles
• Full registration
• Club Permit Scheme
• Street Rods

• Individually Constructed Vehicles
• Imported vehicles
• VSB 14 assessments/testing

Assessments are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and are charged at our Chartered Professional Engineer consultancy rate – payable at the time of the assessment.

Our commitment to your vehicle

AEA holds insurances in relation to our activities but strongly recommends vehicle owners obtain appropriate insurance on their vehicle PRIOR to any assessment taking place.

We respect your vehicle and will take all reasonable care and attention possible during the assessment process but AEA will accept no liability for loss or damage as a result of testing. We will explain known risks to you prior to the assessment or testing commencing and will require your acceptance of those risks.
