Motorsport activities and experience

Jeff has been involved in motorsport since graduating as an Engineer. His initial motorsport involvement was as a crew member for a Group A Touring car team and for a Commodore Cup team. He was also a Technical Inspector for the Australian National Drag Racing Association for several years.

Jeff transferred from being a crew member to driver in the early 1990’s – initially starting at a country club racing level. The chance arose in 1996 to race a Commodore Cup car as a one off event at Phillip Island – a very daunting track to make your debut – and from there he was hooked, going on to build and race his own Commodore Cup cars (he built a VC Commodore, updated to a newer and better VC Commodore and then to VS Commodore) until that series ended in 2012.

Jeff also competed at both Bathurst 24 hour events in 2002 and 2003 driving the Parker Brothers Holden Future Tourer.

Most recently, Jeff competes in the Aussie Racing Car series and drove a Super Ute at 2 events.
